IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ORAL EXAMINATION SCORES!
PASS - You have received a passing score on the oral interview portion of the examination
for the position of police officer and therefore you are eligible to proceed further in the
examination process. Each department will establish an eligibility list of qualified candidates
based upon their respective guidelines. Should you qualify for continued testing (background,
polygraph, psychological, physical) you will be contacted by the appropriate department.
FAIL - You did not achieve a passing score on the oral portion of the examination for the
position of police officer. You are no longer eligible to participate further in the process.
If you believe that you have a basis to appeal this result with the Spring Garden Township
Police Department, York City Police Department, Hanover Police Department, West York Police
Department, Wrightsville Police Department, Stewartstown Police Department, Southern Regional
Police Department, or York Area Regional Police Departments, you must request a hearing before
the respective civil service commission in writing within ten (10) days of your receipt of this notice. Thank you for your interest in applying for a position with the Metropolitan York Police Testing Consortium.
